The Marching Band at Rosemount High School is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program involving over 400 students actively engaged in six concert bands, four jazz ensembles, numerous small ensembles and a rigorous private lesson program. Several students from the Rosemount Band program have been selected for membership in this year's Minnesota All-State Music Ensembles.

This year's show is entitled, "Catch This!" and features the music of Russian classical composers Mikhail Glinka (1804-1857) and Dimitri Shostakovich (1906-1975). Glinka was regarded as the "father of Russian classical music" and Shostakovich was one of the most "celebrated composers of the 20th century."

The Rosemount High School Marching Band wishes to thank our school's administration and parents for their positive and generous support and appreciation of instrumental music and the performing arts programs at Rosemount High School.
