Rosemount High School Marching Band

 

The Marching Band at Rosemount High School is part of a comprehensive instrumental music program involving 400 students actively engaged in six concert bands, five jazz ensembles, jazz improvisation, percussion ensemble, winter color guard, winter drumline, music composition, numerous small ensembles and a rigorous private lesson program. Several students from the Rosemount Band program have been selected for membership in this year's Minnesota All-State Music Ensembles.

This year’s production is titled, “Please Be Seated” and includes the following musical selections:
“Promise” by Thomas Bergersen 
“El Dorado” by Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix
“Outside the Realm” by James Ephraim Hinson
“Dawn of Life” by Paul Reeves

Drum Majors: Aisha Abdulahi, Gaby Hoover, Adonias Ketema and Matteo Pasillas, 

Featured Soloists include:          Gavin Beutler, Blake Leuth, Matteo Pasillas – Saxophone

The Rosemount High School Marching Band is proud of their legacy of excellence while performing and competing throughout the Midwest region. Recent Honors and Awards include:
•2021 and 2022 Bands of America Grand National Semi Finalist
•15-time Youth in Music - Minnesota State Marching Band Champion
•16-time Bands of America Regional and Super Regional Finalists
• 6-time Bands of Regional and Super Regional Class Champion
•12-time Minnesota State Fair Grand Champion
•Performed in the 2014 and 2023 Rose Parade in Pasadena, California
•Performed in the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City
